TAKE HER, SHE'S MINE was also my guess. I've never seen the picture, but the first section of that cue seems like early Goldsmith's sense of juvenile hijinks and exasperated parenthood (in those few trademark bursts of muted brass).

I'm sure y'all are correct, but it sure does sound like either Frank Devol or Vic Mizzy to me!

Speaking of Goldsmith scores for Fox, I wonder how long it will take for a complete release of SPYS. I love that piece of cheesy schlock.

I'm not usually a fan of early Goldsmith but I need whatever that is in my life.

You’re right of course! Total brain fart, sorry...

And DAMNATION ALLEY was only 2017. But the Barnaby Jones pilot score must be the single release from last year that I've listened to the most (even though I had never seen the program at the time). The new redo of MORITURI still tempts me to upgrade the DVD to Twilight Time's Blu-ray. Yavar, you're so right that these have been good times lately!

It was a great release but Damnation Alley wasn’t a premiere any more than Intrada’s releases of The Detective, Von Ryan’s Express, Fate Is the Hunter, or Shock Treatment. Varese premiered two thirds of the score before Jerry passed away. The missing third Intrada added was pretty darn awesome though.

I'm not bickering, Yavar, but only trying to explain my viewpoint. I make a distinction between mere excerpts within a box set (even a substantial percentage) and a first release of that entire score. To me, your holding a different standard for defining a "premiere" doesn't put us in dispute -- or keep the world from being a wonderful place.

But I'll say this: Intrada's issue of the complete score (including recreated electronics) evoked much more enthusiasm from me than the few Fox Box cues had done ... even though I enjoyed the Varese excerpts, and even though 2017 was an extra 13 years since my one viewing of the movie.

Wow! Incredible this one is coming. Thought it was lost to the ages. And that main title is in glorious stereo!! Incredible. Can’t wait to hear more about this release. What an amazing period for Goldsmith releases.

Here's a new one. The album would have been perfect if this had been included. In fact even the expansion didn't include it. I suspect it's lost.
