Question about Varese's Clan of the Cave Bear release

I've ordered the Varese 1000 edition release of Alan Silvestri's Clan of the Cave Bear but I've got a question?

My DVD and IMDB puts the running time of the film at 98 minutes. But totalling up the tracks on the Varese site, they don't add up to more than, roughly, 40 to 50 minutes of music. I remember (and my memory could be playing tricks on me) the whole film having some kind of music throughout the film. Or was that all that Silvestri composed?

Either way, it's not a deal breaker for me. I love the film (must be the only person in Ireland who does) and when I stumbled into the Varese site and saw it the other day, it was an immediate pre-order. I loved the music when I was a kid seeing this on TV. But I'd like to know if I'm going mad or not.

Of course this was released in 1986 and had an LP release at the same time. Even without the reuse fee issue, they still had to contend with that limitation.

Not that I have any idea of the actual answer, I'll grant.

Scott only did demos (I don't know if with a small orchgestra or only on piano), and never got to recording a score. But there was more than enough room on the Varese CD to put the demos cues on.

Another question, this time about Varese themselves:

Are they usually this late shipping orders out? The only thing I've got on order is Clan of... and it was supposed to ship the week of May 29th. It's nearly two weeks since then and no email, no nothing.

Sometimes they don't give you shipping notices. When I bought the Right Stuff way back when, I didn't get a shipping notice, but it arrived in my mailbox!
