Maybe it was discussed at the time of the release of the movie, but I just found out that the "Rhapsody in Blue" segment in Fantasia 2000 was actually supervised and conducted by Bruce Broughton, although according to IMDB the version that eventually appeared in the CD was conducted by Levine like the others,
Being something of a Broughton completist, I would really like to have this version on disc... does anybody know if it was ever released?

I'm pretty sure the IMDB is incorrect on this one and the recording on the soundtrack album is Broughton's performance. I don't have my copy of the CD handy right now to double check the credits, though.

Even if the CD isn't the same performance as in the film, you could just record it off of the DVD or Blu-Ray (which actually comes out this week). The music in the film plays straight through without any sound effects or dialog overlapping.
