This Anthology Boxset was something wonderful at that time, and I still play it when I don't have the time to go through the 2 CDs editions. But the black covers have always annoyed me, you can't read the titles of the movies on it...

I like the additional music, but the sound quality on Empire and Jedi the Arista Star Wars box set blows the Sony/RCA masters for the Special Edition out of the water. Those CDs sound like garbage!

One I always mention whenever this topic comes up is the main title from Conan the Destroyer, which I believe Ford told me a few years ago wasn't included on the record because Basil Poledouris wasn't satisfied with the performance. A shame, because it's a very powerful piece.

I'm sure it was due to reuse fees, but whole opening cue from "Scream" by Marco Beltrami. Terrific stuff!

I think Williams' A.I. leaves out some AMAZING cues off the OST album:

. The introduction of David, with the first presentation of his own theme (which is totally MIA on the OST)
. The actual "Abandoned in the Woods" sequence (I love Williams' concert version, but the film version is as much powerful)
. The arrival at Rouge City, with that wonderful Richard Strauss' DER ROSENKAVALIER waltz quote.

Thank God we have the Academy promo :)
