I expected a lot of music, but not this much. I can't wait to hear it all.

By the way, I like how the titles in the artwork are configured in the same style as the Commando release. It is a very elegant look.

Ive just ordered the Die Hard 2 expanded cd and already have The first one realeased by LL Land last year. They were both limited.
Does anyone know if this is limited?

Limited to 4000 units, will sell out quick i think. Was suprised the new Die Hard 2 did'nt sell out quicker.

I will certainly buy Die Hard 3. Die Hard 2 is the most impressive action score from Michael Kamen, especially since Varèse gave it the Deluxe treatment. I don't remember anything else from the third than what's on the original album. That wasn't much !

This will be a delight to hear in C&C... I hope the Lethal Weapon scores are next.

Wow, Kamen's work as presented on this LLL release adds a lot more color to what we knew of the score in its cut-up state in the film.

The "Ode to Johnny" cue makes for a perfect wrap-up to Kamen's work on the Die Hard scores, with a skillful weaving of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home," "Ode to Joy" and much of the key original themes used throughout the series. It's a very playful cue that has Kamen's whimsical nature all over it.

Got today (thanks Intrada) along with Craig Safans Wolfen. Great to now own all three Kamen scores in excellent form. Not had much chance to listen so far love the reworking "Message for Holly" from Die Hard to "Holly / Celebration" for with A Vengeance, great the way kamen slowed it down and added a sparkle to the track.

Hey, I know this is a year late but I have to ask...How the HECK did the elements for Die Hard 3 end up in the Disney vaults? I mean, something like that doesn't happen unless they were misplaced or something (no offense).

Disney has been a distributor of the film outside of the USA, so they certainly had access to those tapes at one point and kept them for whatever reason.

I've been listening to this album quite a bit as of late. It was a bummer when I read that it's not selling nearly as well as LLL wanted/expected it to.

In my opinion, in this unedited presentation it is by far the best developed Die Hard score with the most pleasing sound quality. It easily makes my list of top 10 La-La Land albums.
