I haven't seen a thread up here for FSM's latest releases, so I thought I'd take the liberty:
GOLDEN AGE: (Johnny Mercer, Harry Warren)
SILVER AGE: (Laurence Rosenthal)
I'm not all that familiar with Belle of New York, although it sounds like fans of vintage screen musicals should love it. On the other hand, I'm VERY familiar with the Laurence Rosenthal double-header, as I spent many months of research and writing for the liners.

Two exquisite scores in radically different genres! Hotel Paradiso is pure pleasure, filled with humor, vigor, and wit. And The Comedians is a brilliantly contoured dramatic score of the highest order. The complete version -- much of which was cut from the film, and is heard here for the very first time -- is a revelation!
