I am surprised that nobody has mentioned the release of the new Cosma set, which like the first one contains 17 CDs and costs less than 50 Euros. I have received it a couple of days ago, and if possible it is even better than the first one, with A LOT of previously unavailable material.

I have always been a fan of Cosma's work, and therefore the first box contained much material I already knew or had (not that it really mattered, at less than 3 Euros per disc); but this time there are quite a few scores I did not know, and although I haven't had the time to listen to all of them yet I sampled all and they seem all very interesting. Even the songs are nice...

My copy has yet to ship from Amazon.fr

But I can't wait for this AND the final volume next year...

Dont'get it from Amazon directly, get it through Amazon.fr but from abeillemusique: they actually have it (Amazon doesn't), it's cheaper, and in my experience they have an excellent service...
