For several years, composer James Horner has been taking to the skies in vintage World War II fighter planes, flying with a team known as The Horsemen, a trio of aerobatic pilots who fly in tribute to those who flew fighting for their country. Horner is known as the Fourth Horsemen, and anyone who has seen Horner in recent "Avatar" interviews and scoring session footage will not only notice that funny blue scarf, but also a baseball cap - that cap is one of the official Horsemen hats worn by the team. Horner wrote a piece of music that he had recorded with his usual hollywood orchestra and actually cues it up personally at some of the various air shows the Horsemen fly in, as it is their official music they choreograph their routine to. This is a video (available in a variety of quality formats) about Horner's history with the team and recording the piece. http://www.asb.tv/videos/view.php?v=6a0572b7&a=feature Horner can be seen in a few other videos on the site as well, and the full-length piece will eventually be made available for purchase from the ASB (Air Show Buzz) website. |

Thanks, a lot, for posting that, Nick. I really, really enjoyed seeing Horner a bit outside his conductor's box. |

Great music in crappy quality for a ridiculous price. Doesn´t sound like a very good combination. |
