It's here. It looks wonderful, it sounds wonderful, and the liner notes are unusual (I don't have very many projects with Julie Kirgo liners) but are very entertaining.

I will say that I miss the cue breakdown seen on a lot of Intrada releases, but that's the extent of my criticism. Thanks to everybody who made this happen.

Mine arrived, and it sounds great.

There are some beautiful moments on here.

Damaged case, but I'll fix that Friday when I pick up my replacement cases from Frys.

One of my holy grails of film scores. Thanks Intrada! Just ordered it! Now if we can just get "The Rocketeer" a complete release we'd be golden!

The Rocketeer would be fantastic.. even more so if there was any way to make Horner sign a few copies, but that will hardly ever happen... but what about some previously unreleased Horner's scores (Deadly Blessing, Surviving, Heaven Help Us, I Love you to Death) or any of those that were heavily butchered on their previous releases (Swing Kids, My Heroes have always been the Cowboys, Apollo 13, Grinch,...)?
Too bad about The Hand not coming any time soon....

One of my faves of the year and it just sounds incredible. I'm hearing so much more on the low end than I ever did before. You guys are the best!

I don't think I will ever play Discovered in the Poolhouse without grinning like a Cheshire Cat!
It just sums up that feeling and memory of how I felt when I was hearing his unique voice for those first times.
Forget the petty re-use and steal quibbles. His own voice is immense and when he's singing with it, things don't get much better!
This is an incredible release, in a year filled with incredible releases.

Fantastic release, one of Horner's best.

I love the C&C presentation much more than the album presentation, but also prepared an "alternate" album program just to get faster to my preferred last portion of the score and to start it with the theme, here's my playlist:
