Ok, just finished up with the 'old' Stallion, and am now looking forward
to trying the 'new'. Those clips are really good, and the whole package looks and sounds special, so I'm in, like anyone cares.....

Besides, that other CD, paying more attention than I had in the past, the sound really wasn't too great - there is some weird treble action going on there, I'm sure our favorite hamsters have corrected. Too bad William Russo's tracks couldn't be dug up, but I'm sure the notes will address that.

Just received today my order. Before anything else, I would like to congratulate Joe Sikoryak for the stunning beauty of this box set and its booklet ! The design is beautifully done using incredible works from Bob Peak... A must-have !

Musically, it's a grand release: so much rousing music was left off... It's like back to a place you knew a long time ago: some things didn't change and you rediscover details you would not except.

Can't wait for the expanded presentation of Delerue's Return of the Black Stallion !

Oh, and yes, Intrada rules !

I have to say thanks for doing this one - I liked the original record well enough, but it wasn't really a classic.

Saw the film around when you released this edition and liked it fine, ESPECIALLY the first half.....

Got your new set in and just love it, have spent at least 90 minutes enjoying it over the past few weekends (!!!!!). It's not even that the new bits are earthshattering, but having a more complete picture of the score, and allowing it some breathing room, makes a lot of difference. I'm glad I took the chance, money VERY well spent on this one, a true oddity in film score history.
