I never got "Preadator" either. I have a spare, sealed "Capricorn One" (Intrada), that I hold just to get that one day. |

Jaws The Revenge was one that comes to mind. I believe the poster had "Soundtrack Available On MCA Records" on it. Then there was the Fox Records release of Predator & Die Hard with Elliot Goldenthal's Alien 3 Fox Fanfare on 1 disc that never materialized. Of course Varese saw to it several years later that each score got it's own full release. |

According to the end credits, Varese were also going to release MOTHER'S BOYS (George S Clinton). Other Vareses that never showed up: WHISPERS IN THE DARK (Thomas Newman), DUTCH (Alan Silvestri) and JIMMY NEUTRON BOY GENIUS (John Debney) were all allocated catalogue numbers but were also cancelled. I think DINOTOPIA (Trevor Jones) was as well. |
