It's an outstanding score. (Even after almost 30 years, I still remember the music for the tour of the car factory, almost as amazing as Barry's music for the climax of THE TAMARIND SEED.) But who owns the rights to it? Outside the U.S. the movie was released by United Artists, so does this mean that MGM may own it? I strongly suspect the master tapes may have gone missing, otherwise it seems inconceivable that the score wouldn't have been released much sooner. Hope this isn't the case, but at least there's a short re-recorded suite on Silva's WALKABOUT album.
