Those anime TV series running from 1981 to 1987 were full of nice orchestral+electronic music composed and performed by Hoyt Curtin (including revisitations of classical themes).
It's a shame that only a few recordings by the prolific Hoyt S. Curtin have been released (Johnny Quest, Battle of the planets...).
His works for the smurfs were particularly interesting and inventive to me!

thx for your consideration!

Eh, as much as that show introduced me to a LOT of classical music, I can't imagine this selling. Classical lovers wouldn't want it by itself, it's not really a score, per se...

(Do note, if it were in stereo, I'd likely buy it, but eh....)

^ yes, we can remind some classical music in the series, but not only. there was a lot of very enjoyable orchestral+synthesizer tracks created by Curtin. The second half of the episodes were more in pure electronic instrumentation, (but) still very effective and inspired, if not even more.

"The Smurfs" is a highlight in Hoyt S. Curtin career! :)
