That's good news, indeed. Hopefully the masters are still in good condition. It would be great if someone would release WASC so I could finally retire my cassette tape recorded from the TV speakers. ![]() |

Really good news is that it looks like Kritzerland is about to release this score. |

This is just awesome news (a favorite saying this year)... Pretty sure this will be a fast sell-out. It is on their website now... wondering when it will hit Intrada's? Speaking of Dana Kaproff... Golden Seal (John Barry/Dana Kaproff) is a terrific release that Intrada released a while ago. Strongly recommended. |

Well, I guess I can finally retire that old cassette tape. ![]() Thank you, Kritzerland. |

You can order from Intrada if you prefer. At only 1,000 copies and many people wanting it, I expect this release to sell out rather quickly. |

Kritzerland Records is headed by Bruce Kimmel, FSM member "hainshisway". They are a legitimate label that releases mainly limited edition film scores, from Dana Kaproff, to Dave Gusin works. From old B-movies to classics. Occassionally they do musicals and some the very rare other things, like the Andrew Lloyd Webber release. They've been releasing score for a few years now. Without checking, I'd say at least five. Like Intrada, FSM, La La Land Records, Quartet Records, etc., you won't see the release on their site for order/pre-order until the day it is release. Kimmel posts at FSM, announcing clues in the same thread of the previous release. So in about three weeks, in the "When A Stranger Calls" FSM thread, he'll drop the clues for the next release and people will speculate there. |

I checked out the samples and, uh, I wish Intrada had done this one ![]() When checking out the samples in Audition, it looks like they're all essentially Mono, with the right channel inverted to give a Stereo impression. A couple tracks have artifacts that are questionable. I'm no expert so I could be very wrong, but it seems like at times they were presented with a situation where they might've used something like Izotope to give the illusion of an isolated track, via piece-by-piece reconstruction ![]() Nonetheless, I'm interested in hearing the possibility of being completely wrong ![]() |
