I think this release is important- as important as having PATTON available to any and all. Certain classic scores deserve this. Fine release that I will be ordering soon.

I've just received my copy, and thank you very much, Intrada. Now, I hope this does not appear or become construed as a complaint, but I'm merely curious as to why a clam shell was used rather than a single flip-styled jewel case, seen previously in other releases?

That kinda makes me curious -- from a pure production stand point, is it cheaper to make a set with three discs and clamshell, or two discs in '2fer' packaging? Or is the difference minimal enough to not matter?

(This is ignoring any points about how much it costs to make the master, licence, etc. JUST the physical aspect)

It's nice to see that this is moving well, but at the same time know that this will be available for whoever wants it for hopefully many years to come.

I've actually seen a release of 3 discs fit into the size of a single jewel case, but it's cardboard (not a digipack though. It's one of those where the CD fits into a slit).
I've never seen. but can kinda imagine a sort of DVD style case (but CD sized) with a CD in the middle on a hinge and the others on the two sides...I recently for a single disc release in a plastic casing like that and it makes me wish all CDs case in that as it's light, doesn't break (even when dopped) and just looks so much nicer. Probably a lot more expensive, granted...

I've never heard the music sound so great,
the extended score is an amazing listening experience!!

A really terrific package!,
love the use of the film artwork on the front cover,
amazing value at only $20!!!!!!!!!

In my book, it's already holder of the title of: BEST RELEASE OF 2011
