When I interviewed Mrs. Walker in 2006, she said she'd love to do a historical drama. Such a project would have been her second, after the little-known 1982 independent film "The End of August," her first solo feature score. I've only seen clips of the film on YouTube (and only a few notes of score there) -- it's never been released on home video, that I know of -- but the plot summary runs thusly: "Set at the turn of the century, the film follows the story of an independent woman in her quest to overcome the restrictions society has placed upon her."
