I like this 1998 score of Beltrami.
I listened many times the short promo produced by the composer and mr. Douglass Fake, some years ago.
My favorite theme is the one heard first time in track 3.
It was supposed to be the main theme of the movie, to my opinion.
What a surprise when at last I saw the movie.
You never heard that theme in any sequence of the movie.

Anyone could explain why?

Better to ask Marco directly. But there are some variations included in the film although the theme is never heard in fully developed form - it was probably intended to be used in the last scene and the end credits but the songs were used instead.
