Hard to say... I picked up some rare stuff just because I happened to be at the right time at the right place, so some of it wasn't "hard" for me to find. A CD I missed and really wanted was Morricone's score for The Island (which I already owned on LP). It sold out so quickly and couldn't be found anywhere. Then one day, I traded it with a nice chap over at FSM for a copy of Piranha. Well, that wasn't so hard I guess. Hmmm... As far as soundtracks are concerned that I was actively searching for but had a hard time finding, I think the "hardest find" for me might have been Jerry Goldsmith's score for The Omen. What? The Omen a hard find? Yeah, I know it's readily available nowadays, but it was hard to find available copies in the early to mid eighties. |

It was likely Elmer Bernstein's SOME CAME RUNNING for me. I finally found the lp and now have the CNR release, on CD, containing this score and KINGS GO FORTH. George Duning's SALOME was also a hard find, as was the gatefold silk release of Mario Nascimbene's SOLOMON AND SHEBA on UA vinyl. b. |

THE ODYSSEY by Eduard Artemiev. I even e-mailed Doug in my search and he informed me that a soundtrack was announced but never released. However, some Euro company DID release it and last year i found it. Sensational music. |
