Dark City. Nice moody work and great powerful action, especially at the end ("You Have the Power"), with a beautiful rendition of the love / quiet theme. This last track has to be one of the finest action tracks of the '90's. |

Dark Crystal and Merlin are great. Hideaway had some cool moments too. The Gator |

I just got Trevor Jones' Soncinemad Concert 2-CD set. Its pricy but I reccomend it. He conducts suites from Merlin, Roseanna's Grave (AKA For Roseanna), The Last Place on Earth, Last of the Mohincans and Dark Crystal. He also includes the themes from Cliffhanger and Fields of Freedom. The performance isn't perfect but its fabulous to hear new performances of this great music in a "live" setting. The CD insert also includes nice liner notes by Jones (who speaks with kind appreciation of film music fans). A terrific release which is greatly reccomended! |

That one, along with "The Quick and the Dead" (eventually Silvestri scored), I have been unable to prove as of yet. So, it may not be. |

Dark City and The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen each get a vote from me. Love those two. Haven't heard many of his others though to be fair. Tai |
