Mystery and adventure novelist Warren Murphy just passed, stated postings on his Facebook page from relatives and friends. Co-creator with Richard Sapir of The Destroyer series about government agent Remo Williams and his Korean mentor Chiun, Murphy had a long and successful career and was a member of the Mystery Writers of America, and I had met him and his then wife Molly Cochran at several writer's functions in the mid-1980s. He, and his Destroyer novels will live on. |

That's sad to see. He was a New Jersey native who made the state proud. |
