Although it doesn't really mean much to me, I was also a bit curious about this.
I laughed at myself as I figured I was the only consumer who put any thought into this kind of thing.

Can someone at Intrada please clarify the composers of the tracks marked ***? The notes don't make it clear. I'm hoping the others I've listed (below with composers' names alongside) are all correct. Perhaps they can be confirmed too. Intrada might have made things easier for us by simply putting the appropriate composer credits next to the track titles in the track listing, rather than leaving us to guess at several of them based on partial information in the notes. River of No Return (L. Newman) Matt and Mark (A. Newman, Mockridge) The Rapids (Harline) The Indians (Harline) The Meadow (L. Newman) ***Dangerous River River of No Return (L. Newman) The Deer (Mockridge) ***The Struggle ***Exhaustion Rolling River (Harline) Finale / River of No Return Reprise (L. Newman) Thanks. UPDATE: After a week, an answer would be appreciated. |

BMI also comes up with (they don't distinguish between composers/stock music/classical music): Ken Darby (ASCAP credits him with Lionel, and showing a performer named "M Legrand". Michel Legrand?) Franklin Campbell Christopher Cote and a bunch of other guys I have never heard of. ASCAP also does the same, but has the familiar names: David Raksin Hugo Freidhofer |

Yeah, if Intrada just released one disc a month, I suppose they'd have time for all this. I prefer things how they are. In fact I don't know how a small company can keep this level of releases up, with booklets & all the other stuff to do. Write to EMI with a question & grow old waiting for a reply. |
