Roger, did Robin use the presentation you were hoping for? 11 tracks?

I'm just glad we finally have another Bernstein on the shelf. This is a score that deserved to have a proper release. It's always nice to experience a brand new record for the first time. And since I don't participate in illegal copies, this will be the first time I hear this score outside the film.

It will be interesting to see how this one does. Varese's SPACEHUNTER is very much cut from the cloth (and a grail of mine until they released it), but I see they have not yet sold out of their 3000 units. It's criminal to me that after all this time it's not gone.

I like the enthusiasm for this score but am I in a minority when I say that I never even heard of this movie or its score before Perseverance announced doing it? The samples do sound great.

I'm curious over what relase Intrada is doing a re-issue on that they are going for better cover art? I'm a sucker for poster style soundtrack artwork.

It hasn't been mentioned much in this thread unless I didn't notice but the cd release for Saturn 3 is also one of my favorites from Elmer from this era. It is odd Spacehunter hasn't sold out because these two releases along with Slipstream and Heavy Metal are all scores that should be dare I say it Bernsteins Spaced Out box set.

I always give Bernstein the benefit of the doubt no matter the genre. However, I have always really enjoyed his dramatic flair--one of my more modern of favorites being The Good Son, an underrated little gem.
