A soundtrack distributor back here in São Paulo received the news that maybe James Fitzpatrick going to put this out. A new complete re-recording of the score composed by Poledouris.

Could anyone confirm the veracity of this rumour!?

If this is the case, it's GREAT NEWS!!!

It's no secret that Basil to the day he passed wanted to do a new recording of the complete score because he never was happy with the performance of the Italian Orhcestra.

I know, he told me HIMSELF many times over the years!

And if James Fitzpatrick is producing such a project, then it's in GREAT HANDS because he knows what he is doing and really CARES!

And if you have any doubts all you need do is get the recordings he's done of things like EL CID, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, TRUE GRIT,PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES,etc..

Or do those who dismiss this idea, dismiss those recordings as well?

Yeah! These recordings are just amazing. Most of the collector I know down here in Brazil are just stunned by the quality of James Fitzpatrick work.

A recording of CONAN with the same quality of these albums would be a dream comes true.
