Jeff, how to see more especially for foreign people ?

I do hope that there will be a soundtrack CD (with remastered and expanded Holly Vs. Hollywood score presentation as a bonus). I really loved that sounding of the piano...

Yeah,
I can envision a CD release in green...
featuring the score as Mr. Fake chooses to present it,
plus as a bonus,
a special piano concerto suite.

Followed by the complete remastered HOLLY VS HOLLYWOOD.

Doug, is Holly vs. Hollywood a short film or feature length, and is it possible to get a copy?

Very effective minimalist underscore, Doug. (I haven't a clue what Jeff looks like [but I do have the sense that he's a good guy], am I right in assuming he is the younger of the two males in the clip?)

THX, as the director of Holly vs. Hollywood I'll wager I've seen the film more times than the number of registered users on this forum! We never did find a distributor, but we are working on a way to get a DVD release. It's a feature-length film, a little under 90 minutes. It did play a couple of film festivals a few years back so if anyone out there has seen it, feel free to chime in if you like. I had the opportunity to see "Holly vs. Hollywood" at the time it was being previewed at film festivals, and it is an excellent film. It is sweet, witty, and poignant. The production quality is top notch, shot beautifully on film. Doug's score is wonderful--spot-on perfect for the film. Jeff Johnson's directing is outstanding.

There are moments in the film where you laugh at the eccentric people Holly encounters in Los Angeles and the absurd Hollywood "rules" she has to try and abide by in her search for an acting agent, yet you are always tightening your grip on the arm of your chair, completely empathizing with her rising anxiety and frustration. You learn to admire her greatly for her tenacity (I would have left LA after the first dismal day!). There are also tender moments, when characters bond and comfort each other; and there is a scene near the end that I absolutely love (naturally, I won't provide spoilers!).

I hope "Holly" makes it to DVD; it is certainly worthy. If a DVD materializes, I will be the first in line to purchase a copy!

The "Game of Pool" trailer looks amazing! That is going to be a brilliant film!
