Hey to all ! I just wanted to present you a little montage I've done of several major James Horner cues. This is my tribute to the maestro... James, thank you for the music ! 
Hopefully, I'll manage to do the 2 other parts one day but it takes a damn long time to edit all this...

Pffff... I was just paying homage to the music and the movies. I only used one minute of Aliens footage (the only fox movie in the video) which was edited under the form of a simple trailer. I'm sorry guys ! The irony of this is that just like James Horner experienced it in the past, I must face the fact that people don't know to make the difference between paying homage and violating copyrights... 
What I don't understand is that there are plenty of fox clips on youtube like this 6 minutes long and no one is complaining... I guess someone who just doesn't like James Horner reported this video as being outlaws... I don't call this protecting copyrights, I call this censoring...

What a sensational composer! Maybe one of you technological wizards can put together a similar tribute emphasizing Horner's "other" side - the more serious stuff like APOLLO 13, COURAGE UNDER FIRE, GLORY, A BEAUTIFUL MIND, RANSOM and whatever. --Doug |
