I'm surprised no one mentioned Herrmann's "The Death Hunt" from ON DANGEROUS GROUND! Now, THERE'S some SERIOUS hunting music!!! :wink:

"Hawking" from KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE (Miklos Rozsa)

Really chase music, but Dave Grusin's wonderful "Mud Island Chase" (THE FIRM) also popped into my mind, probably motivated by mention of the Bruce Broughton cue from SHADOW CONSPIRACY, also one I like. The effectiveness of the solo piano in that cue gets me every time.

"Sounds of Hatari" from the rhino hunting sequence in HATARI. (Henry Mancini)

"Whale Hunting" from WHITE DAWN. (Henry Mancini)

"Battle In the Air" from BATTLE OF BRITAIN. (Sir William Walton). Watched the blu-ray, last week-end, and this sequence captures many of the mixed emotions of a hunting sequence, albeit of a different sort in this case.
