Just caught HOOSIERS on HDNet today. Great film and even a greater score by Jerry Goldsmith. With all of the recent re-releases of his work does anyone have ideas (or possibly leads) on whether a re-release (or expanded) of this Oscar nominated score will see the light of day? I have the original Polydor release on tape and the TER release (with the title of BEST SHOT) but there's a lot more score in thar..... Thoughts anyone? |

One of my top-five Goldsmith scores! Since the score was recorded in Hungary(No thanks... I just ate a BIG meal! ), I would assume that the only thing holding up a complete release is a rights issue. I would LOVE the complete version of this score!!!!!
