This is indeed a fantastic release. It is a great shame the problems with the recording were not picked up at the time but the performance is indeed the definitive and most thrilling presentation of this masterful score and it remains a stunning listen. Congrats to Mr Phillips and Intrada on their efforts. I do have a couple of questions though.. In the notes an album cue is referenced "Adama - A chance to live". Where is this cue on this CD? Is it known by another name? Also the source for "Boxey and Serina" does not sound as 'full' as the other tracks. Anybody know why this is? |

Incidently, I haven't seen it posted here, but Stu will be at Dark Delicacies in Burbank for a signing: I will certainly be going. |

Glad to see this has been a success with fans. I was going to order this today, but in the wake of Japan's tragedy, the money I'd saved for it has now gone toward a donation for their relief efforts. I do hope this sticks around for another week or two at least, for then I will definitely buy this release. Keep up the good work, Intrada. |

SAE were out of stock, so they are sending the others to me, and I placed an order here. I'm really looking forward to this. I have one question though: Which track represents the theatrical version of the Main Titles? |

Just made a comparsion with the Track "Galactic Rock" (1105A TK1) with my recordings i get from Mr. Phillips. Unfortunatley it misses a complete 3 Bar Intro with Sequenced sounds and a Bassguitar. In that Intro you can hear a liitle bit of the musicians in the Background. - They count in. I think i have a different Take of that recording. It has a Length of 3:08 minutes. The Intrada Version has a length of 2:51 minutes. Also i have from the Track " Outer space Disco" (1009A TK1) the Take 2 Recording. Funny ! I also have some electronic Tracks from the Buck Rogers Series. 1: (3M205 TK3) 2: (3M801 TK1) <- Jelly Belly, The "Balls on the Hands" Dancing. (I wonder which take was taken for the pilot, because this one sounds different than the cue in the pilot. 3: (Missing Cue Number) |
