Nostalgia for the decenium or cd-shopping or not, I would grind my teeth is something I'd produced sold out this quick. It means I could have sold more if I had them. |

Just got my copy this morning! It fits oh so nice in between my LEVIATHAN and LOGAN'S RUN discs! I never had a copy of the original Varese LP or CD, so any kind of comparison between those is pretty difficult to say the least. I understand Intrada used the same digital elements as Varese. I can tell you that it sounds fantastic. This is my first time listening to the music without the movie playing, and it really is an enjoyable score. To be honest, I haven't seen the movie since it first was shown on cable back in the late eighties. So it was like a first time experience all around. Thanks Intrada. |

I seem to recall that a few years ago, Doug or Roger were toying with the idea of announcing a release, but NOT disclosing how many copies were going to be pressed... or am I remembering incorrectly? |

So, I guess I will stop purchasing releases and save up my money for when the CD is obsolete in 10-15 years! Then go onto eBay (if it still exists) and purchase the last out of print releases of my favorite scores. They will probably cost $200 each, but I will be buying the Second Platinum 2 CD Deluxe Collector's Edition re-issue of a re-issue of a re-issue of a re-issue. I will then have to best release and I won't have to pay for the 2-3 copies of the same score up to that final release, right? |
