You're welcome Doug and thanks for further detailing your wonderful relationship with Disney! I think the reason people were wondering about getting more Tinker Bell is specifically because Roger posted on the board saying further releases in the series were unlikely because sales had been poor (whether that was enough to dissuade you guys or Disney themselves wasn't clear). We are all so glad you collective decided to take the chance and continue releasing them after all! And whether it was Disney, Joel, or you at Intrada who decided to nix the idea of a two-fer and instead do separate complete (or at least much lengthier) releases of these great scores -- THANKS because they deserve it! Just getting back here to say that I've received both Tink scores and they are JUST WONDERFUL. Everything's that is missing from todays scores is here : thematic, melody, structured action cues, efficient narrative musical storytelling. Joel McNeely is one of John Williams' legacy holder. We are so fortunate he can still compose for some Disney movies and that Intrada is able to deliver us the magic he does for them. |

We NEED joy these days... ![]() There are still some terrific serious action battle cues though, that could have been easily taken out from a Indiana Jones or Star Wars movie... |

I have the first three. I look forward to reading "4 of 7" as a clue in 2016. ![]() |

Actually T. Newman fan, these scores have their fair share of more wistful bittersweet sounding stuff as well (plus some action and particularly in the second score, more "epic" cues). That's part of what makes them so beautiful. They're not all the same all the way through. Do you actually have one or are you deciding what it sounds like without hearing it? ![]() I find a lot of great holiday music balances more joyful sounds with more wistful/bittersweet sounds.
