Okay, guys, Now you well know which is my favourite score by Michael Kamen. ![]() About Brazil: yes, an expanded score, with NO dialogues and a decent sound quality would be really great. I agree. (Very nice the Noel's theme, sung by the policemen choir ![]() By the way I do not understand why Milan re-released in 2006 the same edition, when the old cd it’ s still available for low prices everywhere: then it would have been much better to re-release Runaway Train. Right? ![]() Also I agree with Die Hard With A Vengeance and, why not, Lethal weapon IV. Then I'd like to say to Intrada that many people are spending on eBay a lot of money in buying bootleg CDs-R of Highlander! Just check the site from time to time. Imagine an Highlander 2CD Set - Intrada Special Collection Edition: I’m sure it would be sold out much more quickly than Invaders From Mars. Another 100% profitable release? Well, it’ s Die Hard. Varèse Sarabande it’ s a great label and I have much respect of them; but their Die Hard edition was not so good. Please take in mind the following points: - That title was limited and it is sold out from years - The sound quality is not so good: big rustling and some jitter (I mean some “click”) - The tracks do not follow the chronological sequence of events and we have crossed fade-in/out. - Again a bootleg 2CD set already exists and it is purchased on eBay for astronomical prices! Thank you! ![]() |

The only Kamen scores I'm familiar with are Brazil, Mr. Holland's Opus, The Iron Giant, and 101 Dalmatians. I only own the last one, but it's a really fantastic score, and I'd love to see it get a complete release. His skill is on marvelous display here, and there are times where I even laugh just because it's so good. I would certainly love to see expanded/complete releases of those other two scores. Beyond them, any recommendations on Kamen scores to pursue owning? |
