Now when Psycho III is being released and that is great but which other Burwell scores not released on CD/not released at all do you consider should be released next? Here`s my top 5 list of Burwell scores that I would love to be released on CD: 5, Wayne`s World 2 (yes it is a very brief score but hey why not) 4, Airheads (also a brief score but I love the music played during Michael Richards character is crawling in the "tunnel") 3, The Jackal (his last score for Michael Caton-Jones is not bad, not bad at all) 2, Mystery, Alaska (why this was not released is a mystery to me) 1, Fear (Yes, the Main Title music is the highlight but that does not mean that the rest of the score is bad) So what`s your list and no it is not about those scores that needs to be expanded because that is for another list though. |

For me it’s No Country For Old Men Joe’s Apartment I know those two aren’t particularly iconic scores of his, but I’d love to see them get a release some day. |

Sorry not replied, been busy at work. Once again didn’t realise I caused offence I was only sharing an opinion and I thought the request was pretty straightforward. However your knowledge on the subject seems reliable and sounds good. Either which side of the discussion (assuming it’s not an argument) it would be great to have a release, booklet with similar points of view would be good to. I remember reading on Carter’s website that his relationship with Michael Caton Jones was damaged. This seems a shame as Rob Roy was a massive win for Carter. I remember at the time people were unsure of the choice of Carter writing an epic for Caton Jones as his experience had been mostly Cohen brothers movies. However once you listen to Millers Crossing you can understand Carter definitely has a talent for Gaelic, folk sounding themes. Anyway just an opinion be nice to hear yours Law and order:) |
