I assume you are after a release of the complete original tracks? (You're undoubtedly aware of a so described complete recording conducted by Werner Andreas Albert with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra & Choir in 2000 for the German label CPO?) While comprehensive, this recording doesn't have the "Overture" available on the DVD edition. (Neither does the LP program released by Warner Brothers Records at the time of the movie's release, and subsequently re-issued several times on vinyl and CD.) Need I say, it's a stunning score. |
