Intrada Soundtrack Forum

Last night on Turner Classic Movies was a little gem of a movie called THIRD MAN ON THE MOUNTAIN. I had never seen this film before, but thanks to my recorder I viewed it this morning. Not only was the film a delight but the score by William Alwyn was beautiful.
Now,knowing that Intrada has a relationship with Disney, what are the chances of not only getting this score on CD but SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON AND IN SEARCH OF THE CASTAWAYS as well ? Yes, I realize these scores were recorded in Europe and that might be a problem. My question therefore should be : is anybody looking for them ?

Yeah, Third Man on the Mountain is a good score.

While I like Intrada's releases done through Disney, and I have bought almost all of them, I am eagerly awaiting more pre-80s selections. I sincerely hope that the slow turnout of these 50s, 60s and 70s Disney gems isn't due to dismal sales expectations.

It is a shame that 80s and 90s expansions are likely to sell much better than something like a Ron Goodwin premiere, but I guess that's the market these days.
