I love that movie. The theme is close to BLUE THUNDER, but different. The music for the film seemed to be front and center and not buried in the sound mix. Would pick this up in a heartbeat. Excellent score.

BLACK MOON RISING (1986) from Warner Bros -- composed by Lalo Schifrin. All I remember about the music was how much I thought the main title sounded like the theme from BLUE THUNDER. Is this an accurate assessment? I haven't seen this flick in years. Has anyone seen it recently? Is this an INTRADA worthy score or just something of only marginal musical interest?? Opinions, anyone? |
