Yes, I know it's already available on CD. The sound quality on that CD is horrible,but understandable considering its age and the music elements used. A new recording from Intrada in its Rozsa series would be a delight beyond question. Hopefully, with a complete SAHARA , a new BLOOD ON THE SUN is in their future plans.

This suggestion has a lot of merit. I have the Citadel CD, am afraid to play it for the previously mentioned reason. Surely restoration has yielded some sonic joy? (If the sound quality is abysmal, what does this say about the earlier Citadel LP.) I just cannot get the main theme for this movie out of my head. Unless the Rozsa archive has the scores, it would mean an extensive restoration. My Holy Grail for a complete new Rozsa score recording, however, would be THE THIEF OF BAGDAD.
